Should be fully registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) with a current practicing license for 2021 The incumbent will have a demonstrated experience working independently with minimal supervision, reliably establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Prior experience in training, mentoring, and supervision of laboratory professionals. Prior experience with relevant current routine HIV/TB laboratory procedures including viral load, Recency, PCR, hematological, biochemical and microbiological analyses etc.
Minimum of seven (7) years of work experience, working in a large clinical or research laboratory experience working in a donor funded project will be an added advantage. The successful candidate should possess a minimum of a Bachelors’ degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Master’s degree will be an added advantage. The candidate is required to fill the Laboratory Advisor position by 1 November 2021. ICAP, seeks to recruit a highly qualified candidate to serve as Laboratory Advisor to be based in Lusaka, Zambia.
